It is a healthy mix of love and rage that inspires me to serve San Antonio through Luna Rosa Gardens:

The love comes from my time with Jay and Flint at Lone Star Nursery, two masters of cultivating medicinal and edible plants. I will forever be in their debt for showing me the power of growing my own food.

The rage comes from my second life as a high school educator. One look at my students' community will tell you our food system needs to change. Miles of fast food and gas stations while their HEB produce section is smaller than their classroom. 

It only took two generations to forgot how to grow our own food (and not just buying seeds, but growing and reseeding, fertilizing the soil, and planning out growing seasons). It is my mission to get us back to growing for ourselves. 

It is an honor to be of service to you and your family in the world of gardening, and I cannot wait to for you to become more self-reliant.
